Setting up LDAP authentication on the Snare Server

SUMMARY

  • Aug 26, 2015

  1. In Snare Server | System | Configuration Wizard | General tab, select LDAP, and server and domain info.

  2. On your AD server, create your Snare user eg TESTUSER and define with your password

  3. In Snare Server | System | Administrative Tools | User Administration, create that user TESTUSER with a password (which is NOT the password defined in your server)

  4. Now, log in to Snare Server using your user and the password setup in your Microsoft account.
