Dimension Filter (Datablocks)

Overview / Description

Dimension Filter datablock is used to filter the report with specific values of dimensions associated with it.

This can be used by linking with Cube Report, Status, and Drillthrough datablocks.

Common Use Case

Dimension filter allows you to analyze reports without having report editing rights, e.g. Dashboard Viewer.

Pre-requisites

The Link Targets window will display.

2. Select the datablock to where you want to link the date picker.

3. Click Link.

The selected datablock is now linked to the dimension filter.

To check if the link is working,

4. Select the dimensions you want to display on the linked cube report.

5. Click the Filter icon.

The displayed data on the linked cube report will update according to the selected dimensions.
