Getting Started with eMite
Logging In
There are 2 login options in eMite: via Genesys Cloud app and via web browser.
Login via Genesys Cloud app (for Customers)
1. Launch Genesys Cloud app.
2. Enter your login credentials.
Under Apps, you can see that you are logged in to eMite domain. This may be named differently depending on your specific Genesys Cloud org.
Login via Web Browser
1. Go to https:///<serverName>/eMite/Dashboard.
2. Enter your User Name and Password.
3. Click Log In.
Each user has their own User Name.
Each user is a member of an eMite domain.
eMite Administrators set the credentials for all user accounts.
Dashboard
The dashboard is made up of 2 sections - Header and Content.
Header section
The Header area shows the menus and dashboard pages.
Dashboard Pages / Pages Tab
This is where all your pages are listed and grouped together.
Menus
Contain various control options depending on your account type
When you are logged in as a dashboard Viewer, Manage and User Account menus contain limited options.
When you are logged in as a dashboard Administrator or Creator, Edit Page, Manage, and User Account menus contain full set of options.
Content section
The Content section displays the datablocks of the current/selected dashboard page.
Page
Page is a single dashboard view in the eMite interface.
Add/Create a New Page
1. From Dashboard Pages/Pages Tab, click the + sign.
The Add Content setting will display.
2. Input the number of datablocks you want to add to the page, then click Add.
The Select Datablock sub-setting will display.
3. Select the datablock type you need to display on your page. In this example, Cube Report datablock is selected.
4. Update the Report Name, Datablock Title, and Datablock Style accordingly.
5. Click Add.
The created page will be listed on the Pages tab. It also displays the set datablock.
Rename a Page
1. Double-click on the page from the Pages tab. A text cursor will display, indicating that the page name can now be updated.
2. Enter the new name for your page, then press Enter. In this example, Getting Started page is the new page name.
Datablock
Datablock is the building blocks of an eMite page. Its two main purposes are to control data, and to present/visualize data on a page.
Add a Datablock to the Page
1. Select the page where you want to add a datablock. In this example, Getting Started page is selected.
2. From Edit Page menu, select Add Content.
The Add Content setting will display.
3. Input the number of datablocks you want to add to the page, then click Add.
The Select Datablock sub-setting will display.
4. Select the datablock type you need to display on your page. In this example, Score List datablock is selected.
5. Update the Datablock Title and Datablock Style accordingly.
6. Click Add.
The added datablock will be displayed on the page.
