Core Reporting - Display

Cube Report

• A hybrid datablock, which can present data in the form of graphs as well as tables

Status

• Shows latest value for the measure selected or last value for a report

• By default, shows the value but can also display images and/or sounds based on the thresholds defined

Gauge

• Shows the thresholds that have been configured and indicates the current value of the metric in relation to these thresholds

Drillthrough

• Can be used standalone or with a cube report, status, or gauge datablock - allowing you to select individual nodes on a cube report or value in a status/gauge datablock to view them in-depth in the drillthrough datablock window

• Can also link to an external web page. Select a parameter from the dropdown menu and enter the URL in the textbox. Use the character “%u” to represent the user-defined variable to pass to the external page. As an example, using http://google.com/#q=%u to pass the selected Id. This can be used to integrate any transaction in eMite to an existing web application

Core Reporting - Filter

Date Picker

• Allows you to select a date range that will be applied to all linked datablocks

• The datablocks linked should have a date field selected as dimension for linking

Dimension Filter

• Filters reporting datablocks by selected dimension members

• If the index used in dimension filter and report is not the same, then we need to ensure any common dimension which will be used to map filter to the reporting datablock.

Design - Enhance

Text Editor

• Works as a text editor, as well as we can write any piece of HTML code to be displayed on the dashboard

WebFrame

• A standalone datablock

• Allows you to link any URL (that supports https and cross site scripting) into the dashboard to be displayed in real-time

Image

• This is mostly used to display the logo of the organization

KPI Admin

• Available for Dashboard Admin to manage KPIs.

Map

• The index which needs to be depicted via map should have dimension for Geocode in form of latitude and longitude

• Once a map is depicted, it could be linked to a cube report or status block, then data can be filtered in the reports based on Geocode locations

Spreadsheet

• Could be used to upload csv and Excel files either to ES index or SQL DB

• The underlying adapter used for data upload is Excel adapter

• It could be used same as Excel workbook. I.e., support formulas, column filters
