Add Content (Edit Page Menu)

Overview / Description

The Add Content option under Edit Page menu allows you to add new content to your dashboard page.

Open

Add Content

1. Select a page where you want to add content. In this example, Training Demo page is selected.

2. Click on the Edit Page menu, then select Add Content.

Open

The Add Content setting will display.

There are 4 different ways to add content to a dashboard page.

Add Content

1. Input the number of empty Datablocks you want to add to the page.

2. Click Add.

From Page Template

1. Select a page template from the Templates dropdown.

2. Click Add.

The page to be added will have the same layout as the selected template.

Datablock linking is preserved.

From Widget Template

From My Pages

1. Select an existing Page in your dashboard.

2. Select a Datablock of the selected page to add as a new content.

3. Click Ok.

Datablocks copied in this way will include the same data source as the original. A Cube Report datablock includes the option to create a Copy of the report as well.

Datablock linking is not preserved.
