Genesys Cloud Standard Architecture
Overview
Enterprise Contact Center (ECC) Analytics for Genesys Cloud is only available in an eMite-hosted architecture. Genesys Cloud customers cannot install eMite on premise or within their own cloud.
The following diagram depicts the standard cloud architecture at a high level:
Various redundancy mechanisms have been built into eMite’s cloud architecture to increase availability. However, not all components of the architecture are highly available.
eMite closely monitors all components of the architecture and manually scales resources when thresholds are hit. However, the solution architecture does not auto-scale.
Single Sign On
The standard configuration for eMite’s “Single Sign On” with Genesys Cloud is the Authorization Grant Process.
Genesys Cloud utilizes an Authorization Grant Process to authorize user access to eMite without requiring users to enter a separate username/password into eMite.
The eMite platform also support Single Sign On directly with a number of SAML providers. However, this type of integration is not currently supported with Genesys Cloud deployments.
Customers are recommended to configure SSO (via a SAML provider) with their Genesys Cloud org instead, and then utilize the standard authorization grant process (described above) to access eMite.
