Installation Guide for Snare Agent Manager

This guide details the steps required to install the Snare Agent Manager (SAM).  SAM is provided as an msi file (Microsoft Installer utility), and has been designed with an installation wizard to allow for easy installation. SAM is supported for all Windows platforms and releases ensuring simplified and error free distribution.

Upon installation of SAM there are settings to configure and networks to add to search for agents on the network.  This is complemented with a Setup Wizard upon login to guide you through the process.

What You Need

  • The Snare Agent Manager download is accessible from the Snare Secure Downloads Area at intersectalliance.com.  Authorisation credentials are provided by your Snare Support team or Snare representative.
  • You MUST have administrator rights to install Snare Agent Manager
