HOW TO: Clear PureCloud Desktop App Cache

Overview

After an eMite update has been applied, it is a good idea to clear your browser cache.

If you are using the PureCloud Desktop Client, follow the steps below to clear the PureCloud Desktop App Cache.

Clearing PureCloud Desktop App Cache

1. Close the application entirely from the system tray.

2. Navigate to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\PureCloud.

Copy C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\PureCloud into the windows explorer navigation bar and replace username with your domain login username.

3. Delete all items in this folder.

If you receive a notification like this, go back to step 1 and ensure that the PureCloud Application is properly closed.

In some rare cases, you may need to open Task Manager and manually end the process.

After deletion, the folder should be empty.

4. Log in to the PureCloud Desktop App. You will need to re-configure any custom preferences you had set.
