About this guide

This guide introduces you to the functionality of the version 5 agents for Snare Enterprise Epilog for Windows. The Snare Enterprise Epilog for Windows agent will allow text logs to be collected on a Windows operating system (including 2003, XP (last supported v5.1), Vista, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, Windows7, Windows8, Windows8.1, Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2), to be forwarded to a remote log collection system such as Snare Central or another SIEM facility.  Snare Enterprise Epilog for Windows will also allow a security administrator to fully remote control the application through a standard web browser if so desired.
