GPO ADM/ADMX Templates v5.0.2 were released on 4th of March 2022

Enhancements

Templates for Snare Agent for Windows

  • Added support for IISLogFlush setting.
    This functionality exists in Snare Agent starting from version v5.2.0.

  • Added support for Log collection from text files

    • Log settings allowing to define the files to collect from

    • Filter settings allowing to filter collected logs

This functionality exists in Snare Agent starting from version v5.2.0.

  • Added support for AuditAll setting, allowing to control the enabling of audit events under "Any Event" policy. By default, if user adds "Any Event" Audit Policy, the agent will NOT enable any additional events.
    This functionality exists in Snare Agent starting from version v5.3.3.

  • Removed WebHttps settings.
    Snare Agents support HTTPS only starting from v5.4.0

Do not upgrade to this version of Templates if you have Snare Agents older that v5.4.0, and need to use this setting to enforce HTTPS.

  • Added additional log formats for destinations:

    • Snare v2

    • SYSLOG JSON

This functionality exists in Snare Agent starting from version v5.5.0.

Templates for Snare Agent for MS SQL

  • Removed WebHttps settings.
    Snare Agents support HTTPS only starting from v5.4.0

Do not upgrade to this version of Templates if you have Snare Agents older that v5.4.0, and need to use this setting to enforce HTTPS.

  • Added additional log formats for destinations:

    • Snare v2

    • SYSLOG JSON

This functionality exists in Snare Agent starting from version v5.5.0.

Templates for Snare Epilog

  • Renamed Objectives to Filters
    This change applies to Epilog starting from version v5.2.0.

  • Removed WebHttps settings.
    Snare Agents support HTTPS only starting from v5.4.0

  • Added additional log formats for destinations:

    • Snare v2

    • SYSLOG JSON

This functionality exists in Snare Agent starting from version v5.5.0.
