Adding here to get source content for Release Notes in SLDM.

Enhancement

  • SnareCollector will attempt to preserve hostnames in events determined to be in SNARE format, when forwarding to QRadar.

Bug Fixes

  • The Snare Reflector was adding an extra newline for events being read off disk. This would appear on a Snare Central Server in the log type, GenericLog, as an event consisting of the string "1 SNARE".  This is fixed in this release.

Security Updates

  • Maintenance update for OpenSSL to patch to OpenSSL-1.0.2n.
  • The reflector is updated to support TLS greater than 1.0 for outbound destination connections.


Please note that there was not a formal release of the Reflector patch update at version 2.0.1.
