The SnareCore service status can be viewed by selecting the Audit Service Status menu item. This will display the information for the SnareCore service such as its version number as well as information relating to the architecture of the machine, other basic machine information, and the running binary file. The build date is the date the agent was built before it was released.
This information is helpful when submitting issues to Snare Support.
Managed Configuration status can be one of following:
- off - when SAM IP is not configured in Access Configuration
- Pending... when agent is not configured to connect to SAM included in Access Configuration or unable to connect to the SAM
- Retrying... when agent is able to connect to SAM included Access Configuration but unable to pull the master configuration from SAM
