Importance of Genesys Cloud Groups

...

As part of the eMite provisioning process, 3 (THREE) groups are created within Genesys Cloud, with Type as Official and Visibility as Public.

emite_Access

Membership to this group will be required to access the eMite Integration within Genesys Cloud. Members of this group will be able to access the eMite Application.

emite_DashboardViewer

Members of this group will be able to view the Out-of-the-Box Content within eMite that is provided as a part of the deployment.

emite_DashboardCreator

Members of this group will have permission to create and edit dashboard pages & reports within eMite.

All users will need to be a member of the emite_Access group in order to use the eMite application, but it will be important to consider which permissions you want to allocate to each user with regard to additional group membership. You may wish to share the Out-of-the-Box content will all users that can access the application, or you might prefer to create tailored report pages and share only this custom content with users.
