Overview / Description
The Page Background option is found Background option under ' Edit Page ' and is used to embed menu embeds an image on the dashboard page as its background.
Any image which is set as page background could only be applicable for a single dashboard page. If we wish to use same image as background image for another dashboard page then the same steps to set page background is to be done on another page as well.
Steps to add a Page Background
- Click 'Edit Page' and then click on the last option, 'Page Background'
- A new popup 'Page Background Image' will appear. At the bottom, click on the button 'Choose Image'
- This will open another popup 'Choose Image.' Here you can select from the existing images by clicking on that image. The web address of the image is displayed at the bottom. Click 'OK' button.
- In case user wants to set any other image as page Background, then we have the option to upload the same by clicking on '+Upload' button at top left and then one can choose image from their local machine. If user wants to keep their images in a separate folder, click on folder sign button and a new folder is created. This could also be renamed and then images could be uploaded in the same folder. Also, to delete any folder or image, select the same and click on 'X' button at the top to delete. Finally click on 'OK' button to save the changes
- Once the image is selected it appears in 'Page Background Image' popup and then user needs to select 'Background Size.' By default it is selected to be 'percent.' Other options available are 'contain' and 'cover.' Finally click on 'OK' button to set the selected image and page background
Different options for Background Size
Let's take a sample image to find difference between the three options available for background size. Here we are trying to setup a background image for our dashboard.
On selecting option 'Percent' only applies on the selected dashboard page.

Page Background
1. Select a page where you want to add a page background. In this example, Training Demo page is selected.
2. Click on the Edit Page menu, then select Page Background.
The Page Background setting will display.
3. Click Choose Image.

The Choose Image sub-setting will display.
There are 2 options on selecting an image to set as page background - Upload, and From Existing Page.
Upload
4.1.1 Click Upload.
4.1.2. Select the image from your local machine you want to set as the page background. In this example, background_white.jpg is the image uploaded from local machine. Once uploaded, it is then added to the list of background options.
The web address of the selected image is displayed at the bottom.
4.1.3. Click Ok.
From Existing Image
4.2.1. From the existing images, select an image you want to set as the page background. In this example, Blue BG.jpg is the selected background.
The web address of the selected image is displayed at the bottom.
4.2.2. Click Ok.

Image Management Options
New Folder icon - creates a new folder in the list where you can keep/organize your images
Delete icon (X) - deletes selected image or folder
Search bar - searches the list of images from the inputted text and displays the result
Arrange by - arranges/sorts the list of images by Name or Size

After selecting an image - either by Upload or From Existing Image - the screen will go back to Page Background setting.
5. Set the Background Size, Background Direction, StartColor, and StopColor accordingly.
Background Size options:
Percent - the image is adjusted to the height of the dashboard and is expanded to cover the entire dashboard page

6. Click Ok.
The set page background will apply, and a success message will display on the top right corner of the screen.
