Why are my agents unreachable from SAM?

If you find SAM can't communicate with your v5 Snare agents, and displays 'unreachable' status, then check the following settings on the agent's Access Configuration page:

  • Snare Agent Manager IP points to the IP of the SAM installation

  • Snare Agent Manager Authentication Key is the same key from SAM | Settings | General | Authentication Key

  • Password to allow remote control of SNARE is a password defined in the SAM | Settings | General | Agent Passwords
