Error ‘This change request does not contain a valid change token’

Symptom

When saving network and objective configurations in the Snare Agent web interface, the message "This change request does not contain a valid change token" may occur.

Resolution

When you click on a Configuration Window in the remote control interface, you are granted a token that is valid for a few minutes. The agent only stores 10 valid tokens at any given time, so if you have more than one user logged in, that could also explain why you are occasionally unable to save settings.   So if you leave a Configuration Window open for more than two minutes, simply click refresh the page before making any changes to ensure you have a valid change token.

This message may also occur if using the browser BACK button instead of clicking on the menu options in the Agent.
