For version 5.x.x of the Snare for Windows agent:
The agents target:

  • small agent installer about 5MB

  • installed disk usage approximately 12MB

  • minimal host resource requirements (e.g <5% of CPU)

  • minimal host memory requirements (approximately 20MB)

 
Legacy Snare for Windows agent:
The agents target:

  • small deployment footprint about 3.5MB

  • installed disk usage approximately 10MB

  • minimal host resource requirements (e.g  <5% of CPU)

  • minimal host memory requirements (e.g. less than 20MB)

 

Legacy Snare for Linux agent, Snare for Unix agent:
The agents target:

  • small deployment footprint < 1MB

  • installed disk usage less than 5MB

  • minimal host resource requirements (e.g <5% of CPU)

  • minimal host memory requirements (e.g. less than 20MB)

When accessing the web user interface for the agent for example, http://localhost:6161, the supported browsers include Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (for OSX and iPad).
