About this guide

This guide introduces you to the functionality of the version 5 agents for Snare Enterprise Epilog for Windows. The development of Snare for Epilog will allow event logs collected by the Windows operating system (including 2003, XP (last suppported v5.1), Vista, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, Windows7, Windows8, Windows8.1, Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2), to be forwarded to a remote audit event collection facility.  Snare Enterprise Epilog for Windows will also allow a security administrator to fully remote control the application through a standard web browser if so desired.
