Manage Certificates
This menu contains options to add, delete and view client certificates and trusted CA certificates.
Upload Certificates
Adding a client certificate
Under “Upload Client Certificate”, click “Browse” then select your certificate file to upload it.
Under “Upload Client Key”, click “Browse” then select your certificates private key file to upload it.
Click “Add”
Supported Certificates
Only files in PEM format (common file extensions include but not limited to
.crt,.cer,.key,.pem) are supported.Encrypted private keys are not supported. All private keys installed through Reflector will be saved encrypted.
Adding a trusted CA
Under “Upload CA Certificate”, click “Browse” then select CA certificate file to upload it.
Click “Add”
Adding CA certificates outside of Reflector
Certificates added outside of Reflector will not be automatically detected without restarting Snare services.
Go to Administrative Tools then select “RESTART SNARE SERVICES” to do this.
Installed Certificates
These sections allows you to view and delete certificates installed in the machine.
Each row in the table represent a certificate that is installed in the machine. For CA certificates, only those that are not included in the default OS trust store are shown.
Each column shows the following information:
Subject: The entity the certificate is associated to.
Issuer: The authority that issued the certificate.
Fingerprint: A certificate’s unique identifier.
Expiry: Expiry date of the certificate.
Actions:
View more details about the certificate
Delete the certificate. This button is hidden if the certificate cannot be deleted.
Deleting Certificates
Only certificates that are added through Reflector can be deleted. Certificates installed through other means cannot be deleted here.
