Windows Event Counts

The Event Counts Dashboard helps to provide an overview of windows based events for today showing the event rates, counts by event types (top 50) and event counts per log type being from Security, System, Application and MSWinEventlog2 (snare v2 format). By drilling down on the specific component on the widgets graph point or slice in the pie chart you can see which systems are generating those event or log types. Some parts of the dashboard only show data for the last 4 hours as some Windows systems can generate massive events. If longer search times are desired then its best to use the event search feature to search for logs over longer time period.
