Overview / Description

The Page Background option under Edit Page menu embeds an image on the dashboard page as its background.

Any image set as page background only applies on the selected dashboard page.


Page Background

1. Select a page where you want to add a page background. In this example, Training Demo page is selected.

2. Click on the Edit Page menu, then select Page Background.

The Page Background setting will display.

3. Click Choose Image.


The Choose Image sub-setting will display.

There are 2 options on selecting an image to set as page background - Upload, and From Existing Page.

Upload

4.1.1 Click Upload.

4.1.2. Select the image from your local machine you want to set as the page background. In this example, background_white.jpg is the image uploaded from local machine. Once uploaded, it is then added to the list of background options.

The web address of the selected image is displayed at the bottom.

4.1.3. Click Ok.

From Existing Image

4.2.1. From the existing images, select an image you want to set as the page background. In this example, Blue BG.jpg is the selected background.

The web address of the selected image is displayed at the bottom.

4.2.2. Click Ok.


Image Management Options

  • New Folder icon - creates a new folder in the list where you can keep/organize your images

  • Delete icon (X) - deletes selected image or folder

  • Search bar - searches the list of images from the inputted text and displays the result

  • Arrange by - arranges/sorts the list of images by Name or Size


After selecting an image - either by Upload or From Existing Image - the screen will go back to Page Background setting.

5. Set the Background Size, Background Direction, StartColor, and StopColor accordingly.

Background Size options:

  • Percent - the image is adjusted to the height of the dashboard and is expanded to cover the entire dashboard page

  • Contain - the image height is equal to the height of the dashboard page; the image width is in proportion to the height of the dashboard page

  • Cover - the image is expanded diagonally, adjusting the dashboard page width; the image may not be displayed completely

6. Click Ok.

The set page background will apply, and a success message will display on the top right corner of the screen.
