Overview / Description

The Share Page option under Manage Menu allows you to share or unshare the dashboard pages to other users and groups. The user You can share one or more than one pages with other users. 

Pages can be shared to;

...

with:

  • Specific user - Shares with the selected user

  • Domain

    or

    /Group - Shares with all the users in the domain or group

The user can unshare already shared pages. This will remove the pages from the shared user's dashboard. You can unshare a page only if its it\s a read-only share or editable share.

Page Share

  • Read Only - Allows the recipient/shared to view the report. There are no options to edit the report. 

  • Duplicate

    Share

     Duplicate share enables

     Enables you to create the same exact copy of the page and share it with other users.

     This share

    This is ideal if you

    do not want the user to edit your original report. Modifications do not reflect in each other's pages. 

  • Read-only Shre - User can only view the report. There won't be any options to edit the report. 
  • Editable Share -

    Collaborate - Both users can edit the same page. This

    do not want to have different versions of the same page and can manage edits.

      

Sharing Pages

  1. Select a page you want to share

  2. You can also share the page group by selecting the group. This will share the group and the pages belong to the selected group. 

  3. Select the user you want to share

  4. You can also select user domain/group to share pages. This will share the pages with everyone who belongs to the selected domain. 

  5. Select the Share Type

  6. Click on 'Share' button and it prompts you to confirm the action
  7. Click on 'Ok' from the confirmation pop up

Share Page

1. Click on the Manage menu, then select Share Page.

The Manage Share setting will display.

2. Under Pages column, select an individual page or group of pages you want to share.

3. Under Users column, select an individual user or group of users with whom you want to share the selected page/s.
You can also use the filter user by field to narrow down the list of users

Share History (Overview) 

This page gives you an option to see what pages you have shared with the others. This page can only display the history of edit and read-only share. Duplicate share information will not be tracked. 

  1. Select the user domain from the drop-down
  2. Select the user from the drop-down

3. Under Users column, select an individual user or group of users from whom you want to unshare the selected page/s.

4. Click Unshare.

Share History

Share History displays the list of pages shared with other users, and the history of Collaborate and Read Only shares.

Duplicate Share information are not tracked and not included in Share History.

1. Select a UserDomain. In this example, emitedemo_Dashboard is selected.

2. Select a User. In this example, partner-training is selected.

3. The list under broadcast to domain will update depending on the selected user domain and user.

Under Collaborate and Read Only columns, each page lists the user domain they are shared to.

In this example, RDJ and MESL pages are shared Read Only with multiple user domains.

You can also utilize the items per page drop-down options to display the result.
