The Share Page

This allows sharing option under Manage Menu allows you to share or unshare dashboard pages to other users or groups.
- Domain/group sharing shares with all users in the Domain
- User Sharing shares with a specific user
Shared page by type:
- Duplicate (copy the page and share), suggest duplication share if you wish to maintain the integrity
- Read-only (share user can only view the page)
- Editable (both users can edit the same page)
- Unshare page for read-only share and editable share
The above images show the Share Page dialog box.
Notice that User Domains and their users are listed on the right.
If you have a lot of users and want to narrow down the list, the "filter user by: " field will narrow down the list.
- Ability to see what pages have been shared to a user by selecting the load shared user option in the filter user combobox

Pages can be shared with:
Specific user - Shares with the selected user
Domain/Group - Shares with all the users in the domain or group
The user can unshare already shared pages. This will remove the pages from the shared user's dashboard. You can unshare a page only if it\s a read-only share or editable share.

Types of Page Share
Read Only - Allows the recipient/shared to view the report. There are no options to edit the report.
Duplicate - Enables you to create the same exact copy of the page and share it with other users. This is ideal if you do not want the user to edit your original report. Modifications do not reflect in each other's pages.
Collaborate - Both users can edit the same page. This is ideal if you do not want to have different versions of the same page and can manage edits.

Share Page
1. Click on the Manage menu, then select Share Page.

The Manage Share setting will display.
2. Under Pages column, select an individual page or group of pages you want to share.
3. Under Users column, select an individual user or group of users with whom you want to share the selected page/s.
You can also use the filter user by field to narrow down the list of users.
4. Select a Share Type.
5. Click Share.

Unshare Page
Unshare Individual Page
1. Select a page you want to unshare. In this example, Training Demo page is selected.
2. Under Edit Page menu, select Unshare.

Unshare Multiple Pages or Group of Pages
1. Under Manage menu, select Share Page.

The Manage Share setting will display.
2. Under Pages column, select an individual page or group of pages you want to unshare.
3. Under Users column, select an individual user or group of users from whom you want to unshare the selected page/s.
4. Click Unshare.

Share History
Share History displays the list of pages shared with other users, and the history of Collaborate and Read Only shares.
Duplicate Share information are not tracked and not included in Share History.
1. Select a UserDomain. In this example, emitedemo_Dashboard is selected.
2. Select a User. In this example, partner-training is selected.
3. The list under broadcast to domain will update depending on the selected user domain and user.

Under Collaborate and Read Only columns, each page lists the user domain they are shared to.
In this example, RDJ and MESL pages are shared Read Only with multiple user domains.
You can also utilize the items per page drop-down options to display the result.
